It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning. Henry Ford

The idea that you know what is true is dangerous, for it keeps you imprisoned in the mind. It is when you do not know, that you are free to investigate. ~ Nisargadatta Maharaj

  1. Thinking of creating a Disqus ID -- "Wags is a friggin' Moron" -- to save me typing it in every time I visit DanEric's blog.

  3. Its Dans analysis that has gotten everyone so negative. He needs to understand but he is too self absorbed that EW if it comes down to probability is worse than a buy or sell gamble. Don't get me wrong, I studied EW and think im pretty good at it but even as good as I am about counting waves your still playing against 21 different patterns and its an elimination game at that point. If one goes down another one pops up. Best way to play the EW game is to find the corrective and impulsive moves and check with indicators to confirm that it is going further in the direction. Dan will switch from bullish to bearish count and telling everyone that the end is here. It probably is, but he has lost many viewers confidence that they will not listen to him anymore. As J. Livermore said... Don't try to predict the future, just react to what the market is telling you. We cant all be like WD Gann.

    1. There are a lot of technical analysts out there but few compared to Fundamentalist. We are still considered irrelevant or we would see technical analysis courses in college right along with economics etc. That said our main trend is still up...
